Today Eli and I took Baxter to get his hair clipped and de-shed.
While we were there we saw Rose and went back to 'Nan' Rose and 'Opa' Martin's while we waited.
Martin is looking after the neighbours chickens, including some baby chicks, which Eli was pretty excited with given his fascination with birds!
Even more exciting for Eli though was getting to pat a chicken!
Nan Rose gave Eli a car while we were there as well, which he would not let me remove from the packet, no matter how tired he got!!
